What differentiates Google Cloud from other similar products?

For me, it always stands out for its strength in data analytics, AI, and machine learning—thanks to tools like BigQuery, Vertex AI, and TensorFlow. It also offers high-performance networking and deep Kubernetes support, as Google originally developed Kubernetes. Its pricing is often more flexible, and its commitment to open-source technologies and multi-cloud tools like Anthos adds unique value for our developers and my clients which are from variety of regions like APAC, EMEA etc

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect of Google Cloud is its strength in data and AI tools. I especially love using BigQuery for fast, scalable analytics and Vertex AI for building and deploying machine learning models. It feels developer-friendly, and the integration with open-source tools makes it flexible and powerful for building advanced solutions. Also, it is comparatively easy to use than AWS and Azure

What do you dislike most about this product?

its IAM (Identity and Access Management) complexity is still disliked by me and is really time taking. Setting up roles and permissions can be confusing, especially in large projects with many resources. The interface also feels less intuitive compared to some competitors, which can slow down onboarding for new users. A more user-friendly experience would make a big difference.

If you're considering Google Cloud, start by exploring its strengths in data analytics, AI, and Kubernetes. Make sure to invest time in understanding IAM and billing structures, as they can be complex. Use Cloud Shell and documentation to get hands-on quickly. Also, take advantage of training resources and certifications—they’re very helpful for learning and career growth.

My favorite aspect of Google Cloud is its powerful data analytics and AI capabilities. Tools like BigQuery and Vertex AI make it easy to handle massive datasets and build intelligent applications quickly and efficiently. This empowers businesses to make data-driven decisions with speed and precision.

What do you dislike most about this product?

its complex pricing structure, which can be difficult for new users to understand and manage. Additionally, some services lack the depth of enterprise support and third-party integrations that are more mature in AWS or Azure, which can be a challenge in hybrid or multi-cloud environments.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would recommend starting with a clear understanding of your workload needs and taking advantage of Google Cloud’s free tier and detailed documentation. Focus on leveraging its strengths in data analytics, AI, and Kubernetes. Use cost management tools early to avoid unexpected charges, and consider working with a certified partner or consultant to ensure a smooth setup and migration.

What differentiates Google Cloud from other similar products?

This data analytical tool has the ability to enable you to make big scale queries at a very fast and efficient rate. How we work with datasets has changed with the help of BigQuery making our data-driven decisions even more. There are integrated AI and machine learning tools provided in Google cloud that have made development of predictive models a breeze. Not only does this hasten our tasks but it also makes our analytics more precise.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I enjoy the capability to work in multi-cloud set-up and integrating it with other platforms and tools, like Kubernetes, has provided us the flexibility of working within different demands without feeling that we are stuck on one solution.We deploy applications in it all the way down to implementing artificial intelligence solutions to optimize our operations.

What do you dislike most about this product?

In some occasions, the use of some services may prove very expensive especially when resources are not well put in place and this may be a pain to the finance departments.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would suggest it because we have experienced a rise in the level of efficiency in our operations; We have also led to shorter processing times of data which has enabled our work groups to concentrate on innovation instead of spending on the management of infrastructure.
