What really differentiates MarketMuse for me is its deep focus on content optimization and strategy. What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The way it generates content briefs is a standout feature. They’re so detailed and tailored, guiding me on exactly what to include to improve SEO and engage my audience. Plus, the insights on content gaps compared to competitors help me hone in on what really matters to my readers. it feels like a partner in my content creation journey, making it easier to produce high-quality, impactful articles that resonate with my audience. It’s been a wonderful addition to my toolkit.

What do you dislike most about this product?

while the insights are powerful, I sometimes wish there were more straightforward explanations or examples to help clarify the suggestions it provides. Overall, it’s a great tool, but a smoother onboarding experience would make it even better.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

With clear information on what your competition is doing to rank on Google, MarketMuse makes it easy to figure out what's missing and fix it.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It's just very intuitive to use.

What do you dislike most about this product?

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

A paid version will give you more bells and whistles, but the freebie version is decent for getting your website ranking on Google. You just need to be a bit more creative in terms of finding insights.

What differentiates MarketMuse from other similar products?

The ability to see keyword volumes, LSI keywords/topics, and questions people ask about the topic is something not really available in competing products. Others provide 1 or 2 of those capabilities typically.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like being able to see how comprehensively top content has covered a particular topic as well as how long each piece is and what content types are included.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Initially they offered great value for money. But over the years, what you get for the same price has gradually reduced.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Make sure you’re producing a high enough volume of content for the monthly expense to make sense. Also, paying extra for the content briefs is rarely worth it — the ROI on what you can get through that process that you can’t get elsewhere in the software is too low. It also takes too long to put together a brief.
