Altova MapForce is unique with deep format support (XML, JSON, EDI, databases), simple drag-and-drop operation, and code generation (Java, C#, XSLT) in-line. It has support for bidirectional data transformation, workflow automation, and API invocation. It is different from most ETL tools in that it supports regulatory compliance formats like XBRL and EDI, which makes it applicable to finance and healthcare. What do you dislike most about this product?

The biggest weakness of Altova MapForce is its steep learning curve, especially for those who are not comfortable with complex data transformations.
