What differentiates Cloudflare WAF from other similar products?

I have notice is that Cloudfare WAF sits on top Cloudfare's global edge network, so protection happens close to the user not just at your origin that's means malicious traffic gets filtered before it even reaches your servers . Another thing that's make difference is that eassy it is to get started and you don't have deal with complex infrastructure or long setup cycles.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like most that's is the instant feedback loop there you can see traffic blocked request and potential threats in real time, and if something looks off i can tweak a rule and see the impact almost immediately. Another thing I appreciate about how it balance strong defaults with flexibility. I get soild protection out of the box and I lt did not locked me, even I can customize rules in a way that feels natural and readable.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I dislike is there some of the more advanced features and deeper controls aren't always as straightforward as they could be and I know interface is generally clean but when I am digging into custom rule expressions or debugging specific behaviors that it take a bit of trial snd error to get thing right. Overall it's very easy to get start but after suddenly some time spend it's get a bit tricky once you move beyond the basics.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I recommendation from my personal experience about Cloudfare it's give you managed rules sets and built in protections that cover most common attack like SQL injection and XSS right out of the box and so, don't mistake over engineer there no need in day one . Cloudfare WAF is to actively use the analytics and logging features. It fits into your overall architecture rather than treating it a just a security add on because it's biggest strength is that it sits at the edge and intergation with s global network.
