What differentiates CloudSOC Cloud Access Security Broker from other similar products?

CloudSOC’s main differentiators are its data-driven CASB engine, deep Symantec/Broadcom ecosystem integration, and strong controls for both sanctioned and unsanctioned apps across managed and unmanaged devices

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Tight integrations with other security products make CloudSOC first choice. Creation of policy is also simple as it can sync policies which are created on Broadcom DLP.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Sometimes the support services can be a bit annoying where you need to send them tonnes of logs and then wait for them for long time to get a resolution.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you are considering CloudSOC, I’d recommend it for organizations that want strong SaaS visibility, DLP, and user-risk analytics in one platform, especially if you already use Broadcom/Symantec security tools.

What differentiates CloudSOC Cloud Access Security Broker from other similar products?

CloudSOC stands our for the visibility it offers so we get to see what other users or team members are doing on it. Many tools just block something that are users are doing in cloud applications bit CloudSOC first understand the user work and that is first step for strong security.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I really like the visibility it offers because that helps me understand the user psychology or the state of mind. If the users is doing something that is threat for our security than it blocks it otherwise it just monitors every move of users.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There nothing that dislike about it but sometime it react differently when the user count is very high or that goes in millions. That problem is temporary within few seconds the system adapts the new environment.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you have millions of users and your platform also have security concerns as well then it is going to be the best choice for you.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The platform can feel complex during setup, especially for teams new to CASB solutions.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It’s a good fit for organizations that need stronger control over cloud apps and sensitive data.
