What differentiates Postman from other similar products?

Unlike traditional, single-player API management tools, Postman fosters team collaboration across the entire API development lifecycle, from creation to deployment Postman vs. Insomnia.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The automation capabilities also stand out - turning manual API testing into repeatable, CI/CD-integrated processes that can catch regressions automatically. That shift from reactive to proactive testing seems valuable.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I had to restart Postman a couple of times, and even then it would randomly freeze or crash. That’s when I realized that as much as Postman is packed with features, it doesn’t work fine with large collections or lower-end machines. I don't like this type of lagging while testing the APIs.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Start with the free tier to understand if Postman fits your workflow before committing to paid plans. The free version includes core testing features and basic collaboration.
