What differentiates Zyxel Next-Gen Firewall from other similar products?

As someone who manages networks for remote teams, I appreciate that this firewall comes with a full set of VPN options—SSL, IPSec, even site-to-site links. It means we’re not stuck with just one way to connect and can build the right setup for each situation.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The VPN connections are solid, which is reassuring when you have people working from different cities or offices. Being able to pick from different VPN protocols is great, we can fine-tune access and security for each team or location.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Getting the VPN configured in the first place is a bit of a puzzle , I wouldn’t call it user-friendly.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

This firewall’s VPN support is a good fit for organizations with lots of remote staff or companies that need strong, flexible, and secure connections between sites. Just be ready to put in some effort during setup—it’s not the simplest, but it’s dependable once it’s up.

What differentiates Zyxel Next-Gen Firewall from other similar products?

I like Zyxel's Next-Gen Firewall because it gives me fast performance, strong layered security and the flexibility to manage in the cloud or on-prem. The licensing is scalable and while costs can add up also I value the mix of speed, protection and easy management.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect of Zyxel's Next-Gen Firewall is its hybrid management. I can control and monitor the network both from the cloud and on-premises which makes managing security across multiple sites much easier.

What do you dislike most about this product?

What I dislike most about Zyxel's Next-Gen Firewall is that enabling all its security features can slow down performance and managing licenses for advanced features can get expensive.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would recommend starting with the core security features you need and gradually adding advanced modules as required. Take time to learn the cloud and on-prem management options to get the most out of its flexibility and performance.

The fact that it prevents a lot of cyber attacks effectively is what distinguishes it from other softwares

It has a very powerful tool that simply blocks the most malicious of viruses and phishing attempts.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I have no regrets in utilising the firewall which is a complete package of cyber attack prevention.

I think it is a best match for mid size organization.
