What makes Laserfiche stand out? It's really good at letting anyone, even folks without a lot of tech know-how, build powerful automated workflows. Plus, it's an 'all-in-one' system, meaning it handles everything from organizing your documents and capturing data to creating online forms and automating tasks, all in one place. They're also pretty upfront about their pricing. As it brings everything together and lets our own team create custom solutions without constantly needing IT's help, we can go digital and improve our processes much faster and with greater control.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Without a doubt, is its exceptionally powerful and flexible business process automation (BPA) and workflow engine. Its ability to translate complex, multi-step organizational processes into elegant, automated digital workflows is above par. Laserfiche takes everyday work like approving invoices, onboarding new team members and managing important contracts and makes them effortless. It turns those old, manual ways of doing things into smart digital journeys that are easy to track, saving us money (delivering a tangible ROI) and truly bringing our business into the future.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Honestly, Laserfiche is a big investment and my main issues are how tough it is to learn and that you have to go through a reseller for help. Getting consistent support is a real problem and when something critical comes up, it's frustrating not to get immediate, clear answers. It definitely feels like we're not getting our money's worth sometimes. It isn't your average 'plug and play' document storage. The learning goes way beyond just setting it up; you're constantly learning to design and manage complex workflows and keep the system updated as your organization changes.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I wholeheartedly recommend it as a powerful catalyst for digital transformation within your organization. Its biggest strength is its super flexible and powerful system for automating tasks. It can really change the way you handle everything, from simple approvals to complicated processes. If you want to cut down on manual work, speed things up and make sure your data is accurate using smart forms and automatic routing, it's an excellent option. Plus, it's great for managing all your documents. It keeps them secure in one place, makes them easy to find with strong search tools and helps you meet all your compliance rules.

What differentiates Laserfiche from other similar products?

The major differentiator for us was a great benefit: a system like Laserfiche. The business' change control, KYC processing, and approvals, to name a few, all continued with minimal disruption to business operations. During the handover of some processes, our reseller MBS was fantastic; the guys explained things very well and to a point where I could pick it up after a few sessions. Also, features such as metadata management & ECM document management are really great, which also makes it stand out.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

When I joined my current employer, everything was paper-based; forms would physically move around the office gathering signatures. All KYC documents from customers came via the mail and were kept in large boxes on a shelf. I was added to the "Paperless Office" project (after the purchase of Laserfiche and server-level deployments), and I slowly took on more work on (workflows, forms, scanning - application level) I was assigned to this full-time and then worked with the various departments to begin digitizing their processes. Not long after all our business-critical processes were moved to IT, they surpassed our expectations by 100 x .

What do you dislike most about this product?

Don't have anything negative against it; hence, it's definitely a good solution .

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would say Whenever I reached out to MBS with a more complex query, the guys have always been able to point me in the right direction—top marks from me.

What do you dislike most about this product?

search functions befuddle users, even though it is more crucial to find documents. What I have seen in LF 12 will certainly gives this innovation!

You will NOT be disappointed!
